The IT working group provides flexible solutions for research visions, processes and methods. All scientific areas, groups and projects need modern information technology for cooperation, communication, digitization, data management and high-performance computing at KIT/IMK-IFU. In addition, both the on-site information technology facilities and the network connections of the research facilities and research stations must be continuously modernized and developed in order to ensure continuity in data and to fulfill scientific requirements in the best possible way. These increasingly sophisticated solutions are essential for meaningful scientific output.
